Prevented data leakage:
Once I've read an article in PC Week I was concerned about privacy
policies in my company. I've learned that out of 700 workers surveyed,
21% - 31% admitted to keeping and sending company confidential
information, like financial or product data to recipients outside the
company. The bad surprise was that it's true for mine company too, my employees
keep important documents on their laptops and personal computers,
instead of using company's secure server. With Show Hidden Files I found
about hundred of password protected Excel sheets. Now our ITs using it
to contentiously monitor all the computers in network for protected
docs.
Christer Harding, CEO of medium-size chemical industry
company.
We have a strong security policy, as an IT admin I've
integrated Show Hidden Files to search for passworded docs on employees
computers. Thank you for adding MS Office .mdb support!

Found lost password protected files:
I was trying to unpassword protected MS Office files. I
have a lot of password protected files on my hard disk and I didn't want to open every file just to make sure if it is protected or not.
I've found your Show Hidden Files and I'm using it now to search for all document
files and check if they a password-protected or not!

The main reason I'm using this is because i have a dual
hard drive system, with one as a backup, and it crashed recently. I have
many of my client profiles on it , which are secured documents with
passwords. I need to access these because my customers profiles are
always being updated.
