Once you think about computer privacy and security you use password protection. Most likely you do protect you files with some standard password and put them into some standard location. But this is not a secure way to deal with password protected files.
If you do as many security professionals suggest then you use different passwords and put files into different locations. In this case, you may face a problem, when you simply lost your file or forgot the password.
